When you register or use Trackula, we may collect:

• Personal Information: Name, phone number, email address, business name, address, GSTIN, and other identifying details.
• Payment Information: Billing address and payment method details (processed securely by third-party services like Razorpay).
• Usage Data: Information about how you use Trackula, such as login times, device type, IP address, and browser details.
• Transaction Data: Details of invoices, payments, and records created through Trackula.
• Location Data: Precise and approximate device location, including location collected in the background, as described in section 2.
• Photos: A profile photo you choose from your library or take with the camera. Camera and photo access are used only for that picture.

Trackula collects location so a company can measure how far an employee travelled during a field session and show the route on the Journey map. Location is not used for advertising, and we do not sell it.

• When it starts: After an employee starts a field session (clocks in). The app asks for location permission before tracking begins.
• What we collect: Precise (fine) location for the route. Approximate (coarse) location is requested with it. Background location is used only while that field session is active.
• Background use: Tracking continues if the screen is locked or another app is open, so distance and the journey stay accurate. A notification stays visible: “Trackula — Session Active. Recording your route and distance.”
• How often: About every 15 seconds or 15 metres while the session is active.
• Who can see it: The route and distance are saved to that employee’s company account. Managers in the same company can see who is on field, how far they travelled, and the route. Location is not shared with advertisers or data brokers.
• When it stops: Tracking stops when the employee ends the field session. You can also deny location, or turn it off later, in your phone’s settings. If background location is not allowed, the session can continue with location only while the app is open, and the route may be less complete.

• Provide and run Trackula services, including field-session distance and routes.
• Process your subscriptions and payments.
• Meet Indian tax rules, including GST requirements.
• Communicate with you about updates, support, or offers (if you choose to receive them).
• Analyse how you use Trackula to improve the service.
• Stop fraud or unauthorised activities.

• To perform our agreement with you (e.g., to give you access to Trackula and to record a field route when a session is active).
• To follow Indian laws (e.g., tax and IT rules).
• To improve Trackula and prevent misuse.

We don’t sell your information. We may share it with:

• Your company account, so managers can see field-session time, distance, and route.
• Service providers who work with us (e.g., payment gateways and map services used to draw the route).
• Authorities or regulators, if required by law.
• Affiliates or new owners, if our business is transferred or merged, under confidentiality agreements.

We take reasonable steps, like using encryption and secure servers, to protect your data from unauthorised access, changes, or loss.

We keep your information as long as your account is active or as needed for legal or tax reasons. Field-session location points are kept with that session on the company account so distance and the journey map remain available. They are removed when the company account or that session record is deleted, unless a longer period is required by law.

You may have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of your personal data.
• Correct or update your data.
• Ask us to delete your data (if allowed by law).
• Object to or limit some types of data use.
